Well, rock on. Who knew?
vomitorium (vom-i-TOR-ee-uhm) noun, plural vomitoriaA passageway to the rows of seats in a theater.
[From Latin vomitorium, from vomere (to discharge).]
I am SO going to use that the next time I go to a movie. If, you know, I ever do again—I gots kind o’ a lotta kids…
Jeez, all these years since Latin in Catholic Junior High I had believed it was a place where the affluent Romans went to make more room for further binging.
Several of the dictionaries allude to that, but most emphazise your definition:
"vomitorium"
1754, "passage or opening in an ancient amphitheater, leading to or from the seats," from L. (Macrobius, Sat., VI.iv); see vomit. Erroneous meaning "place where ancient Romans (allegedly) deliberately vomited during feasts" is attested from 1923."

Like you, when I muster the courage to take the troops to the theatre, I will so have to use this! Ha! Thanks Scott!
