BBC has institutional leanings, but tends to be as good or better than the NYT.

After living in Ukraine for years, I have to say sadly, that I wouldn't be surprised if this was true. Ukraine is well known for human trafficking, especially children and there have been rumors around that children from orphanages that end up missing have most probably been sold for body parts. This situation definitely needs to be investigated.

The BBC is widely considered to be an organisation with very high standards and whilst it may have some institutional influence, its stories are reliable and well researched.

KC

This is horrific.

Well, there goes my apettite.

Forever.

Unethical, immoral and hideous.

Susan

I heard this last week on the ABC--Australian Broadcast Company. They probably picked it up from the BBC, which I find very reliable. Given the choice between CNN International and BBC World I go with the BBC.

Goslyn

This is by far the most horrific thing I have ever read. Frightening. How do we stop it?
