Pal Aaron send me the following link. Apparently, a post-production house organized a competition where assistant editors re-cut trailers for famous movies to try and make them seem like different movies.

I had a discussion online with someone recently over the intrinsic manipulative qualities to be found in film. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more manipulative clip than this and if you have any idea of the original, it’s hysterical to boot. And yet, while I was howling while watching it, I’ve been unable to stop thinking about it since.
This trailer may have started as a spoof, but at some point it became Art.
