It does an aging rock and roller’s heart good to see his cherubic four-year-old bopping around singing softly to herself, "Slit skirts, slit skirts, Jeannie doesn’t wear those slit skirts…"
Of course, The Bean’s only four. So it really sounded more like "Swit skuhts, swit skuhts, Jeannie doesn’t weah those swit skuhts…" That’s okay. Rock and roll is one of those few places where your youth isn’t held against you. As Pete Townshend himself wrote earlier, the kids are alright.
